Only about 15% - 18% of the population smokes, but they all seem to congregate in casinos.
Also, by the time you walk from the parking garage through the hotel lobby and casino, your clothing and lungs are saturated with nicotine. Is this the smokiest place in America? No, but it's well up there.Įven the smoke-free mezzanine level suffers from the open architectural design that allows smoke from the level below to rise freely up to the mezzanine. I totally agree with earlier post individual from Ft Myers. Bottom line for us is we will not return to the Hard Rock because of the smoke, smoke, smoke! In actuality the variety, and up to date themes of the slots was lacking and boring. The smoke free casino areas are small with limited variety and number of slot machines. I cannot imagine what it would be like without a mask. Considering we were wearing masks which probably filter some of the smell it was still bothersome. The smell of smoke slams you in the face as soon as you walk in the door. Overall we felt very safe and comfortable with the cleanliness protocols resort wide. Felt very comfortable with cleanliness at both establishments. Omelet was delicious and better than most other omelets we have had. Our server was friendly, attentive, and efficient.
Food was average, it’s my opinion that most restaurants have average food except high end. Checkin was quick and we had a very nice room on the 15th floor of the east tower.
